Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3 Review

I am always on the lookout for graphic editing software that is not too heavy on the pocket ($).  Paintshop has been around for a long time and now it is worth to take a second look at it.

Photoscape – Basic Photo Editor

For those who are not into the heavy and costly Photoshop application can try Photoscape, a handy and simple photoeditor. Moreover it is free although donation is always welcome.  I think it is perfect for those who captured photos and want to post small size photos on the web such as blogs or social networking sites.

Review : Amazon Kindle 2

I know the Amazon Kindle 2 ebook reader is not a photographic equipment but I thought readers of this blog might be interested in other electronic gadgets. I always been an avid reader and usually borrow books from the libraries in Singapore.  I  would be quite willing to buy books that are not available in the libraries or books that I would like to keep eg photography books.  Therefore I  was quite interested to know more about the Kindle. Prof Li Yuan is a US based photographer specialising in landscape photography. I had a face to face encounter with him once in Phaking , Nepal when we were both doing our treks. He was going down while I was on my way up.  In that 1-2hours of conversation, he impresed me with his determination to take good landscape photos in Nepal.
