Damselfly

I enjoyed nature macro photography and spends many hours in the outdoors shooting flowers and insects. This photo of a damselfly  is taken at Singapore Botanic Gardens. Here a shallow depth of field is used to throw everything other than the head of the fly into a patch of blur. This in turn created a soothing background of green.

Nice macro! I just at the Botanic Gardens as well, but I did not managed to find that many insects, bugs or stuff to take. Maybe I did not know where are the good spots.

hello thanks for visiting…insects and bugs usually can be found near the various small ponds in SBG. Damselflies are quite small so it is easy to miss them.
